This Workshop will provide an overview of the planning factors for integrated and sustainable road and transport networks.

These factors include to better understand the linkage between land use and transportation systems; the need to be multimodal and intermodal; to develop infrastructure, congestion, safety, environmental and operational management systems.

It will also present the requirement for a robust community and road user involvement process to find the best and viable options to develop appropriate continuing, cooperative and comprehensive strategic plans.
